Tucson-born artist and craftsman Gary A. Peters began experiencing the demanding joys of art at an early age as the son of noted Tucson potters Don and Marie Peters.  With formal education in the applied arts, as well as training under acknowledged masters, Gary utilizes a wide array of mediums and skills. Through many abstract and representational styles, he expresses his view of the world through wood, tile, ceramics, metal, pottery, charcoal and pastels.  From unique artistic commissions to commercial and residential redesign projects, Gary specialized in bringing his clients’ myriad visions into reality for over two decades.  His true passion lies in exploring the rich tones, whimsical whorls and wide-ranging grains of the world’s most beautiful woods.  His recent work focuses on revealing his own artistic vision through stunning segmented vessels of varying shapes and magnitude.
